This Styrian lodge is a lovingly renovated and privately-run accommodation located in the midst of nature, and yet only an 8-minute walk from the heart of Übelbach. The lodge sits at the end of a cul-de-sac with hiking and biking trails running right past its front door. It is surrounded by a large, well-kept garden with berry bushes and herb beds that entice guests to take a leisurely stroll or settle down for an extended breakfast or picnic on one of two sundecks. The lodge only has three apartments, which allows you to enjoy a tranquil vacation with your partner or family. The “Landhaus am Bach” is also ideal for business trips, as it is well connected to public transport and located only 20 minutes by car from the cultural capital Graz.

Each apartment is furnished with great attention to detail and comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, a private bathroom with a separate toilet, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Spacious parking spots are available directly on the property, as well as a lockable garage for bicycles or ski equipment. The two sundecks as well as the garden are open to all three apartments and come equipped with patio furniture, sun loungers and parasols. Additionally, there is a children’s playground surrounded by fruit trees.

A market with three restaurants, a wine store and a café, as well as a very good butcher’s shop and a drugstore, can be reached by foot in only 8 minutes; a public lake in only 12 minutes. Moreover, there is a charging station for electric cars nearby. The grocery store Nah & Frisch covers all of your daily needs and can be found at the entrance to the village. The Murhof Golf Club is 20 minutes away by car, the skiing area Präbichl 45 minutes. Nearby alpine cabins such as Plotscherbauer, Höfer Hans and Schutzhaus Gleinalpe entice visitors with their hospitality and typical Styrian food, whereas nature lovers get their money’s worth on numerous trails meant for hiking or bike tours.
